IS Security Analyst - Omaha, NE Or Remote


The IS Security Infrastructure and Support team is looking for a data security analyst to focus on protecting corporate data assets using technologies and through the implementation of practices and procedures
Primary responsibilities will be the development and enforcement of data security standards, enforcement of standards using technical controls, discovery of at risk data assets both in the corporate data center and in various cloud services, data auditing and data protection
This role requires partnering with application and infrastructure teams to grow and enforce the data security practice
This work will include but is not limited to:Collaborate with team members to set vision and define roadmap in order to enable the growth of the data security practice
Administration and ownership of data security technologies
Creation of technical documentation for system functionality and procedural guidance

Perform systems analyst duties related to security architecture and infrastructure to include: Providing design, analytical, and programming support for security products and services Collecting and analyzing relevant data related to security trends and technologies Developing technical and non-technical security designs to satisfy business requirements Developing, modifying and implementing test and implementation plans for security products and processes Work closely with customer business environments in order to provide appropriate solutions and process improvements
Report violations (internal and external sources) to the Security CIRT (Computer Incident Response Team) and participate in CIRT activities such as investigating internal and external security incidents, excess individual access authorities, and distributed security responsibilities
Develop auditing and reporting for primary security tools such as authentication directories and distributed authentication systems
Develop auditing and reporting for distributed security responsibilities to include home office, field offices, and the cloud environments
Process complex requests for network and endpoint technologies
Develop, review and approve security administration guidelines, processes, and procedures
Oversee and direct the participation of team members in complex hardware and software upgrades across all security platforms; provide security analysis for all hardware/software platforms and provide security resources for operating system and security software upgrades
Consult on company-wide projects where security needs are identified
Identify and evaluate security products to enhance current productivity and effectiveness
Make recommendations to department management based on evaluation and assessment
Maintain strong professional relations with internal customer areas and outside vendors, keeping abreast of industry trends, threats, risks and controls
Responsible for complying with all Company policies and standards

Senior Infrastructure Specialist


Responsibilities Definition, maintenance and support of Operational Smart Grids (OSG) infrastructure operational policies, standards, best practices, procedures, tools and projects in support of efficient, resilient, and secure operations of OSG supported applications and facilities
Directs works with technical teams and external vendors to provide operational support for a diverse set of operational enterprise services
Monitor operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement
Align the operational requirements with relevant global/corporate operational requirement(s), security framework(s) and/or associated regulatory compliance
Key Responsibilities: • Provide timely responses to all incidents, tasks and requests assigned to meet Service Level Agreements
• Work with internal clients, suppliers/contractors, project teams and other technical staff to identify, design and support technical solutions
• Provide maintenance of infrastructure technologies following the change management process
• Lead the technical implementation plans in support of infrastructure technologies
• Support physical and virtual infrastructure, including all existing physical and virtual systems, installation of additional systems, patching, maintenance, upgrades and support
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and testing of hardware and software products
• Maintain regulatory compliance under NERC/CIP guidelines
• Maintain high quality security controls surrounding the critical SCADA systems
• Perform/coordinate special assignments from OSG Infrastructure Management
• Provide 24x7 on call support
• Provide professional and technical mentoring for team members

Skills and Requirements Qualifications: (minimum for assignment to this job) Education: BS/BA Degree in Business, Computer Science or other technical discipline
MA/MS Degree preferred
Will consider additional years of relevant experience and/or related technical certifications in lieu of degree requirement (in accordance with the FLSA Computer Professionals Exemption) Education and Experience Requirements: Meet at least one of the following: • AS Technical Related Degree with 12+ years' technical experience
• BS Technical Related Degree with 8+ years' technical experience • MS Technical Related Degree with 5+ years' technical experience Experience: Position requires a minimum of five (5) years' experience working with infrastructure solutions in an enterprise environment
Position requires professional experience with more than one of the following areas: Data Center Operations, Disaster Recover/Business Continuity Planning & Execution, Security & Compliance Management, Infrastructure Operational Policies & Procedures, and/or Technical Project Coordination
Fundamental understanding of UNIX Operating Systems (OS), Linux OS, Microsoft OS, Active Directory, VMware, Citrix, Networking, Routing, Firewalls, Security tools and/or scripting
