Optimizing and enhancing the efficiency of manufacturing processes and systems within the organization related to cold chain and product distribution. The primary purpose of this job position is to analyse and improve the utilization of resources, including personnel, materials, energy, and information, with the overarching goal of increasing productivity and reducing costs.

The position reports to internal stakeholders (Senior Managers)
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
· Competent fluency in both English and Spanish as the job requires communication in both languages.
· High-risk work License (HRW) for Forklift truck operation.
· Availability to travel internationally once or twice a year to ensure production plans in South America.
· A minimum of five years of relevant experience in importation and distribution within Australia's food service sector.
· Strong analytical, management, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in using engineering and analysis software.
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes, systems, and principles.
· Excellent mathematical and statistical skills.
· Familiarity with quality control processes and methodologies.
· Understanding of health and safety regulations
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Analyse and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the freezing and packaging of products.
· Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that frozen products meet or exceed regulatory and company standards.
· Optimize the layout of production facilities to facilitate the smooth flow of materials and products, minimizing bottlenecks and optimizing space utilization.
· Studying and analysing organizational structures, growth projects, and operational data.
· Oversee the management of the cold chain to maintain the integrity of frozen products from production to distribution, ensuring that temperature-sensitive products are handled appropriately.
· Work to streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and identify areas where resources can be utilized more effectively.
· Develop and implement systems for quality control, testing, and maintenance, ensuring that products meet or exceed industry standards.
· Designing and optimizing facility layouts, evaluating production schedules, and establishing work standards.
· Develop and oversee maintenance programs for freezing equipment and machinery to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration and communication between various departments.
· Contribute to the overall operational excellence of a company by applying engineering principles to improve processes, boost efficiency, and contribute to the achievement of organizational goals.
