The Information and Technology Services (ITS) organization at the University of Michigan is seeking an Intermediate Web Developer to work within the Digital User Experience team in the Marketing and Communications department. Working closely with others on the team, the Intermediate Web Developer will focus on administering web Content Management Systems (Drupal/WordPress), updating content as requested, and assisting with the back-end maintenance of websites.
This position will report to the Digital User Experience Team Manager.

In this position, the intermediate web developer will be responsible for contributing to the front and back-end creation, maintenance, testing and troubleshooting for websites. The selected candidate will work in close collaboration with a talented team of web developers, information architects, UX designers, multimedia designers, and communication specialists. Daily work will be a combination of operational work as well making technical and tactical contributions to projects.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
Remote work is currently available with the possibility to renew every year based on University and ITS leadership directive, business needs, and/or performance. Normal amount of remaining in a stationary position, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amounts of work at a computer, may require travel. May require work outside of normal business hours. Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance required.
