Job Functions Essential

• Develops and oversees implementation of websites and applications using approved programming languages; coordinates site and application functionality with content management system.
• Plans, executes, and facilitates website and application development projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and timeline as set forth by manager
• Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves site and application issues; recommends and implements preventive measures to avoid future problems.
• Assists in the design and implementation of any new websites.
• Collaborates across departments to identify and understand new website and application development needs.
• Makes edits as requested by customers, develops plans for completing larger projects, and suggests solutions to improve existing company websites.
• Regularly conducts file backups to local directories and tests/debugs software.
• Effectively works with security and compliance employees to ensure site security.
• Maintains knowledge of emerging technology and best practices in website and application design and development.
• Utilizes technology to provide users with a fast, accurate, and secure method of gaining access to information in an efficient manner.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Regularly uses a keyboard/mouse to interact with a computer.
• Regularly required to communicate verbally and via writing.
• Regularly proofreads and/or reviews documents.
• Occasionally lifts or carries objects weighing up to 20 lbs.

• Bachelor's degree in web design, multimedia design, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum five years of work-related experience.
• Expert knowledge of the Internet and email systems.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Php8+, JavaScript ES5 and ES6.
• Thorough understanding of SEO best practices.
• Knowledge of reactive website design and integrating with 3 ^rd party APIs.
• Experience in development using ORM Object-relational mapping.

• Familiarity with B2C or B2B system architecture, Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, or other RDBMs.
• Knowledge of JavaScript engines such as Node.js or Rhino, and Php frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience using CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind.

• Vue3 or Nuxt3 JavaScript frameworks.
• Laravel 10+.
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Docker or similar container-based development.
• Python 3+.
