Over the last almost 35 years Chemwatch has become a global leader in providing chemicals management solutions, providing management software and training for the management of chemicals. The position Sales Representative will be working in Ucorp Pty Ltd trading as Chemwatch and/or our subsidiary company, representing businesses in selling chemical management software and training course, etc.
The duties and responsibilities are as below:
- Sell Chemwatch’s Chemicals Management Softwares andAccredited 10895NAT - Course in Chemicals Management
- Generating lists of prospective client businesses in the Chemical, Biotechnology, Mining, Aerospace, Automotive, Education, Food and Beverages, Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare and Agriculture industries, using trade directories such as LinkedIn and other sources
- Perform online training of the Chemwatch chemicals management software to existing clients
- Perform cold calls to attract new potential businesses
- Managing the Sales email inbox to answer any sales queries from current clients or potential clients
- Analyze the employer’s and competitors’ products and services
- Visiting regular or conducting online meetings with prospective client businesses to demonstrate Chemwatch’s cloud-based chemicals management system modules as an act of selling.
- Investigate customers’ chemicals management needs and explaining the suitable Chemwatch cloud-based Chemicals Management System products/services to meet their requirements
- Quoting and negotiating costs, creating proposals and recording data on Customer Relationship Management platform Planfix
- Reporting to sales management on sales made on a weekly basis, and present new changes/trends in the industry
- Preparing sales reports using data analytics tool called Data Studio
- Improve Sales workflow/processes using Customer Relationship Management System Planfix
- Conduct Customer Relationship Management Planfix training sessions for the sales team
- Completing the Accredited 10895NAT - Course in Chemicals Management as part of Chemwatch onboarding process
- Assist overseas Chemwatch Sales employees with sales queries (i.e. product information, quoting etc.)
Qualifications and Skills/Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, majoring in Chemistry or Biotechnology
- At least three years’ experience in a similar role obtained in a medium to large size organization, preferably with experience in chemistry and/or Software industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong clients relationship management
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Google Docs)
- Attention to detail
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
