We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to join our team. The Production Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless planning and coordination of our production activities and designing and developing new products in the solar hot water market. This position is essential for maintaining our high standards of quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and supervise all processes involved in the production of solar hot water systems.
• Design and establish equipment parameters, creating test and maintenance procedures prior and post assembly.
• Ensure all production processes and products comply with Australian standards and obtain necessary certifications for market entry.
• Develop and maintain 3D models and drawings of products and assembly processes using SolidWorks 3D CAD and other engineering tools.
• Plan, initiate, and document product testing through third-party laboratories to maintain or develop product approvals and certification.
• Evaluate and make revisions to products within the air conditioning, heating, and solar energy sectors.
• Liaise with third-party metal suppliers, specifying manufacturing specifications for the development of new metal products/components.
• Manage product specifications and production in the company ERP system (Unleashed), ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.
• Create bills of materials, technical drawings, and assembly instructions for new components and part kits assembled in-house.

Identify product, cost, and manufacturing requirements throughout the development process.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven working experience with SolidWorks or another CAD software.
• Solid use of ERP systems and production management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and innovation.
