Since 2000, SalDoce is proud to have introduced many baking mixes to the Australian and other international markets to suit the diet of customers with gluten, dairy and nut intolerance, diabetes and those who wish to control weight or have a healthier diet without compromising taste. SalDoce Fine Foods now supplies more than 30 products to many supermarket chains and independent retailers in Australia and around the world.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team. The role will perform duties and responsibilities, including the following:

?       Preparation of monthly accounts reconciliation including management reports

?       Assist in preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders

?       Prepare yearly financial forecast and budget

?       Recommend suitable budgetary and accounting policies

?       Financial analysis and management reporting to help Directors with decision-making process

?       Prepare and lodge monthly Instalment Activity Statement and quarterly Business Activity Statement

?       Daily transaction processing and ensure accuracy of the data entered in the company Accounting Software, Oracle NetSuite, including maintenance of the accounting system

?       Payroll processing, including managing super and PAYG obligations, employee timesheets, leave accruals etc.

?       Examine operation costs and manage income and expense

?       Manage purchases/bills from suppliers and vendors

?       Assist sales customer manager in processing and communicating sales orders to warehouse and with Distributors in Australia and Export customers

?       Manage client invoices and ensure timely payment; prepare and manage weekly cash flow

?       Conduct monthly stock count in manufacturers and warehouses and adjust necessary valuation in system; monitor internal inventory system

?       Financial investigation, prepare reports and undertake audits and make necessary advice

?       Liaise with external accountant regarding Annual Tax Returns and other tax obligations including any government grant applications

?       Other ad hoc accounting duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have the following:

·        Bachelor's degree or higher

·        At least 3 years’ full time work experience as an Accountant

·      Advanced Proficiency in ERP and accounting system, NetSuite Oracle

·        Outstanding management and leadership skills

·        Superior Analytical skills

·        Ability to manage and work with a team

We offer an annual basic salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation. The successful candidate will also be entitled to leave credits and other benefits provided under the law.
