Position Overview:

As a Sales Account Manager at Bitek SA Pty Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, identifying new business opportunities, and executing sales strategies that align with our company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively managing client portfolios and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Account Growth and Retention: Proactively manage and grow existing accounts by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth within your assigned accounts.
  • Market and Product Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors while maintaining a deep understanding of the company’s products and services.
  • Client Presentations and Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure client needs are met and service delivery is optimized.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management, providing regular updates and forecasts to senior management.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve client issues or concerns in a timely manner, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Travel and Client Visits: Conduct regular client visits and attend industry events or trade shows as required to build relationships and identify new sales opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Sales & Account Management: Proven experience in meeting/exceeding sales targets and managing client relationships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of industry trends, key players, and the competitive landscape.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear presentations, effective negotiations, and building client rapport.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to deliver tailored, value-added solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, identify growth opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Skilled in negotiating and closing deals, managing complex sales cycles, and securing long-term contracts.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software for managing sales pipelines and client interactions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address challenges and find solutions that align with client and company goals.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive client management.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, client needs, and company goals.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of relevant technical products/services, as required by the industry.
