Role: PHP Web Developer
Length: 9 months with possible extension
Location: Onsite 5 days (possibility for hybrid) in St Louis, MO
Visa: USC/ for W2 or 1099
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP, JavaScript, React, Laravel Framework, and SQL.
Write automated tests such as unit, acceptance, and integration tests to ensure quality
Work with Docker containers and deploy to AWS using CI/CD pipelines
Perform code reviews on peers code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Troubleshoot and debug issues in web applications and provide timely resolutions
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements:
5+ years in web application development with PHP, Laravel, Linux, SQL/NoSQL databases, JavaScript, and Docker
Experience with frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and React.js.
Proficient in Git for code management
Knowledgeable in OWASP and web security best practices
Strong object-oriented design skills
Proficient in relational databases like PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with AWS services and Docker
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using
Knowledgeable in RESTful APIs and web services.
Experienced working in agile team environments.
Experience creating 508 compliant web frontends preferred.
Familiarity with templating engines like Twig, Laravel Blade, etc., preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
