Role Status: Full-Time Term Vacancy Available until 23 November 2025 Remuneration: ASO5 ($85,790 - $95,413 per annum) + 11.5% Superannuation

Role Details

The Department for Child Protection is currently looking for a Technical Specialist to join the ICT and Information Management Services unit on a full-time term basis.

The role is responsible for:

·        Providing comprehensive technical support in the areas of desktop hardware and software applications.

·        Liaising with external service providers on a technical level for the resolution of and software faults and other relevant matters to maintain quality customer service.

·        Assisting in the ongoing maintenance and upgrade of all server, desktop and network infrastructure to the current supported products including the tracking of assets.

·        Coordinating projects and undertaking significant initiatives on behalf of the Infrastructure and Support team.

About You

We are looking for a confident individual with a proven ability to provide technical expertise in configuration, problem solutions and application testing.

Our ideal candidate will be experienced in managing the execution of hardware and software rollouts and upgrades in a large organisation, and possess a sound knowledge of desktop operating systems.

Your strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills will enable you to effectively address customer IT issues through analysis and the delivery of practical solutions.
