The Role:

As the Modular Building Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of modular building projects. You will work closely with our engineering, construction, and project management teams to create high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective modular building solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modular buildings that meet PSD Energy’s sustainability goals, project requirements, and client expectations.
• Produce detailed architectural plans, drawings, and technical documentation using software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Ensure compliance with Australian building codes, regulations, and standards in all designs.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and external contractors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
• Integrate innovative and sustainable practices into all stages of design and construction.
• Manage project documentation, including design revisions, material specifications, and building permits.
• Attend client meetings, present design concepts, and provide expert advice on modular building innovations.
• Oversee the quality control of designs during manufacturing and construction phases, ensuring that modular solutions meet or exceed project expectations.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (Registered Architect preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in modular or prefabricated building design.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, and other architectural design software.
• Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of modular construction, prefabrication methods, and sustainability practices.
• Regulations: Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external clients.
• Creativity & Problem Solving: Innovative thinker with the ability to provide creative design solutions.
