Job Description:

Virginia State Police is seeking an experienced PHP Web Developer to join their dynamic IT division. The role requires working onsite for 4 days per week (subject to change). You ll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing WordPress applications, focusing on highway safety, emergency messaging, and public outreach.

Requirements:

Proficiency in PHP, WordPress, SQL, REST API

Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Experience with back-end maintenance, UX/UI principles, and secure coding

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
