Auto Fix Auto Electricians (ABN: 16 003 283 118), based in Rosebery, is looking to employ a new Motor Mechanic on a full-time and permanent basis!

We also work with Bosch and offer a specialised Bosch Car Service with nationwide warranty. 

Our workshop is located in Rosebery, NSW. 

Who You Are 

Our Motor Mechanic will be responsible for the following: 

1. Inspection and Maintenance 

• Conducting routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections 
• Checking fluid levels, tire pressures and other vehicle systems to ensure that they are in good working order 

2. Diagnostic Testing 

• Using software and diagnostic tools to find issues with the vehicle’s engine, transmission, electrical systems and other components 
• Interpreting diagnostic results to determine the root cause of the problem 

3. Repair and Replacement 

• Repairing or replacing damaged parts such as brakes, mufflers and belts 
• Overhauling engines or rebuilding parts when necessary 

4. Technical Work 

• Performing complex repairs on various vehicle systems including engine, transmission, suspension and steering 
• Working with both gasoline and diesel engines as well as hybrid and electric 

5. Testing and Adjusting 

• Testing vehicles after repairs 
• Making adjustments to alignments, brakes and other systems to meet the manufacturer specifications 

You must have experience as a motor mechanic. You must have a good knowledge of vehicle systems and common/complex problems. You will be able to confidently assemble and install new vehicle and engine parts, when necessary. You must have excellent customer service skills and you must be able to confidently explain vehicle issues, repair options and costs. 

You will be joining a passionate and professional team. You must be hard-working and a good team player. Please note that this is a full-time and permanent position. We are looking for someone who wants to develop relationships with our business and clientele. 

We are offering a competitive salary package of $75,000 - $85,000 p.a. depending on your experience.
