Next Smile Labs Pty Ltd are a rapidly expanding Melbourne based Dental Laboratory servicing the Australian Dental Industry.

We are primarily a dental prosthetics lab, specialising in All on 4 dental implant prosthetics.

We are seeking a dental technician that is passionate, energetic, highly organised with a keen eye for detail. The successful applicant’s primary responsibilities will be:

• Setting up teeth on both full and partial dentures, implant retained dentures
• Producing thermoformed splints, mouthguards and other require basic prosthetics
• All types of repairs and relines of AO4 appliances and dentures
• Plaster work duties, including pouring dental impressions, trimming models and articulating dental models
• Processing dental appliances using the Ivocap system
• Proficiency in dental CAD software, such as 3Shape or Exocad and 3D printing technology 
• Ceramics experience is highly valued
• Assisting dentists with technical work duties
• Assisting of all stages of the manufacturing processes of dental appliances

Successful Applicants will have:

• Relevant dental technician qualifications
• 3-5 yrs minimum experience
• Experience working with removable prosthetics
• Capable of working independently and alongside the senior dental technician and the lab team
• Reliable, highly organised and motivated
• Ability to work on a tight deadline
• High standard of work
• Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing situations and varying work styles
• Excellent organisational and time management skills

Annual gross base salary $70,000 to $85,000 (in addition to superannuation) depending on skills and experience.
