Annual Salary: $69,000 - $79,000 plus 11.5% of superannuation

Location: Arndale Surgery, 34 Gray Street, Kilkenny SA 5009

Reports to: Clinic Manager / Head Nurse

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Nursing Support Duties:

Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and administering basic nursing services.

Assist the nursing staff by observing and reporting promptly any changes in the condition or well-being of patients

Provide support during medical procedures and examinations.

Assist with post-operative care, including wound dressing changes and monitoring for complications

Educate patients on health management and post-treatment care.

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and equipment.

Help patients with mobility, including transfers to and from beds, wheelchairs, and examination tables

Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving patient care processes

Respond to patient call bells and address non-medical concerns or relay medical concerns to appropriate nursing staff

Support and assist patients with food and fluids as required

Build effective relationships with patients through clear communication and empathy.

Assist in implementing therapies according to treatment plan

Qualifications, education, experience, and abilities required:

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

A relevant Certificate III

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Abilities/Attributes:

Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the healthcare environment.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Pracsoft and Medical Director.

?Solid knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare services.

High level of Computer skills, especially database management, medical software, and office software.

Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
