Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred
Equivalent experience (e.g. Associates degree, 5+ years of web development experience with strong portfolio of verifiable work including short project descriptions, wireframes, mockups and final design)
Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends, when required.
Must work onsite.
Experience
Full-stack experience from database queries to server-side scripting to front-end web development with familiarity in responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
Strong software design, development and verification skills including debugging, performance optimization and testing of software applications
Front-end web design is a plus
Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP and/or Perl, XML, and JavaScript.
Experience with Wordpress/WooCommerce (fully customized, not just boilerplate sites) and proficiency in any other framework experience like Laravel (PHP), Node.js (JavaScript) or Django (Python) nice but not required.
Experience with database design & query - (MySQL/MariaDB)
Familiarity with Linux RedHat OS and Apache/http web server configuration a plus
Ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and capability to try new approaches
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
Responsible for working on front-end, server and database software layers
Maintenance of existing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software applications and system integrations maintaining and updating existing software to improve performance and debug code
Perform validation and testing.
Develop web applications by producing clean, efficient, and scalable solutions.
Document code and technical processes for future reference and team knowledge sharing
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure our systems remain current and effective.
Work in a team setting to translate project requirements into technical specifications while integrating team output into the software modules
