Senior Software Developer, AI - Permanent - 17666 About the Opportunity  We are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Developer, AI for our west-end client. HQ'd in Kanata, this software company has several offices worldwide to serve their global client base. Reporting to the Software Development Manager, this person will join a growing agile team of skilled Software & AI/ML Engineers  in the development of a mission-critical, AI-powered digital inteligence solution. Above all, they value attitude and aptitude over the perfect technical fit.  Although this software company employs several tech stacks – including Java, C# (.NET), Golang, Node.js, Ruby, Python, etc. they value attitude, aptitude, and problem-solving ability over the perfect technical fit. This role will heavily involve the use of C# and Python, in particular, as well as extensive use of Kubernetes. This is a permanent position with one of the region's top employers. They employ a hybrid model consisting of two days/week in their Kanata office for local employees, however, fully-remote candidates residing within Ontario will also be considered. About You The successful candidate will have the following:

• B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field
• 7+ years of object-oriented programming experience using C# and/or Java; experience with Python is a strong asset
• Experience with AI/ML engineering; LLMs and RAG is a bonus
• Experience in areas such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), microservices, etc. is a strong asset
• Team-first mentality as well as the ability to work autonomously
