Civil Engineer Draftsperson


Location: Adelaide, South Australia

Position: Full-Time Civil Engineer Draftsperson

Salary: AUD 75,000 - 80,000 + Superannuation

As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Civil Engineer Draftsperson to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

• Collaborate with civil engineers to translate designs into accurate and detailed drawings.

• Assist in estimating the materials and costs associated with projects, contributing to accurate and efficient project planning.

• Conduct site visits to gather necessary data, measurements, and information to incorporate into designs and ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet the project’s needs and are executed properly.

• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project requirements.

• Maintain and update a comprehensive library of project drawings and related documents.

• Ensure that all designs and drawings adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Over 3 years proven experience in a similar drafting role, preferably within the construction industry.

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and other relevant drafting tools.

• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
