Software Project Manager – Orange County, CA Sierra Cybernetics is seeking a Software Project Manager to work for us supporting our Orange County Superior Court government client. The Court wants to improve one of its processes by procuring a third-party software package for a new Case Management System (CMS) solution, which will replace the current system with customization and data exchanges to other agency systems related to the process. This is an 8+ month contract assignment, fully remote. Open to US citizens, green card holders, or H1-B candidates. Key Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning: • Develop comprehensive project plans that define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources required. • Work with stakeholders to identify project requirements and constraints. 2. Execution and Monitoring: • Lead project teams and ensure the execution of tasks according to the project plan. • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and adjust project plans as needed. 3. Stakeholder Management: • Collaborate with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to understand and manage expectations. • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a timely and clear manner. 4. Risk Management: • Identify and assess project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks. 5. Quality Assurance: • Establish and enforce project standards and ensure that project deliverables meet quality requirements. • Conduct project reviews and implement lessons learned to improve future projects. 6. Reporting: • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management. • Document and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Qualifications: • 5+ Year of proven experience as a Project Manager, with a successful track record of managing complex system integration and/or development projects from initiation to completion. • Bachelor’s degree preferred • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus. • Previous government experience preferred. • Previous experience in an Azure environment preferred. • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to demonstrate and maintain professionalism when interacting with various levels of Court staff, project vendors, etc
