Software Product Manager - Permanent - 17820 About the Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Software Product Manager for our well-reputed west-end client. HQ'd in Kanata, this software company has several offices worldwide to serve their global client base.  Reporting to the Senior Manager of Products, this person will join a growing Product Management team and will tackle everything from product vision and roadmapping to requirement gathering to customer feedback and product enhancement. This individual will have a technical background with a thorough understanding of the SDLC and the ability to convey ideas and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Good presentation skills are paramount.

This is a permanent position with one of the region's top employers. They employ a hybrid model (two days/week in-office) and thus only candidates local to Ottawa/NCR will be considered. About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 4+ years of industry experience; either in a technical, customer-facing software engineering role or as a Product Manager/Owner in a software company
• Must have experience in software development and a thorough knowledge of the SDLC; experience in areas such as AI/ML, cloud deployment, and microservices is a major asset
• Excellent business acumen and ability to deliver ideas/concepts; presentations, product demos, etc.
• The ability to travel 10-15% of the time
• The ability to obtain Canadian Top-Secret Clearance
