Role Details
The Department for Child Protection (DCP) is seeking a Service Desk Officer on a full-time term basis.
The role is responsible for:
· Providing an advanced help desk function for all DCP applications, midrange systems and all approved and installed software.
· Developing and maintaining a highly client orientated service delivery focus.
· Contributing to user training by conducting informal training sessions to maintain the effective operation of all DCP applications.
· Assisting with the implementation of new DCP applications including systems testing and the preparation of user documentation and training schedules.
About You
We are seeking a vibrant and resourceful individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively with a wide range of relevant stakeholders.
You will have a proven ability to work under limited direction and meet deadlines whilst maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
To be successful you will have knowledge in standard desktop environment applications and demonstrated ability interacting with computer systems and computer mainframes efficiency.
If you have the ability to adapt to changes in technology while maintaining a high level of service, then this may be the role for you.
