Company accountant


Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and budgets.

Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliations.

Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Provide strategic financial advice and support to management.

Monitor cash flow, forecasting, funds and financial performance.

Oversee tax compliance, including BAS, GST, and income tax returns.

Collaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.

Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and cost control measures.

Manage and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.

Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
