Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s web presence while ensuring the security and efficiency of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Security Implementation and Maintenance: Protect network systems against unauthorized access, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond to security breaches.
• Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive disaster recovery plans, ensuring data backup and recovery strategies are regularly tested.
• Project Management: Plan, manage, and coordinate IT projects, collaborating with other IT professionals to achieve objectives and ensure project completion within scope.
• Routine Maintenance and Upgrades: Perform regular maintenance on network systems and components, upgrading as necessary for improved efficiency and security.
• Network Design and Configuration: Design and implement network solutions tailored to organizational needs, configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve network issues, minimize downtime, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes, preparing reports on network performance and security incidents.
• Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Expertise in network security protocols and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong project management and technical documentation skills.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
