CBD Skin Cancer Clinic seeks an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our closely knit team. We are a busy, highly regarded, fast paced clinic located in the heart of the Sydney CBD and has been established for over 15 years. The clinic strives for excellence and is fully accredited. The clinic is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. 

We are offering a permanent full-time position. The position is available for a well presented, self-motivated and energetic person. 

Must have intermediate computer skills, and be able to cope with a busy environment. The role incorporates nursing duties, as well as some front desk reception. Full onsite training will be provided for the right person. 

This role is an excellent opportunity for a nurse that would enjoy working in a closely knit team with full access to onsite doctor supervision. Recently graduated nurses are welcome to apply for this position.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Qualified Registered Nurse
• AHPRA Registered
• Authorised to work in Australia
• Previous experience working as an RN at a Skin Cancer Clinic
• Surgical Assisting experience of at least 1 year
• Proficient knowledge of Genie Medical Software program
• Knowledge of the Australian Medicare system
• Delivers Excellent Patient Care
• Strong team player who positively contributes to work culture
• Reliable, Dependable, & Flexible 
• Friendly, Approachable & Self-Motivated
• Competent with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work independently
• The attitude that a busy day is a great day

Typical duties our RN will be responsible for are:

• Wound care and management
• Removal of Sutures
• Surgical assistance to our clinicians with excision and graft procedures
• Sterilisation of instruments
• Triage and assessment of patients 
• Maintaining and updating client records 
• Explaining procedures to patients and providing them with aftercare instructions
• Coordinating bookings, billings, and completing patient notes. 
• Previous experience in an Outpatient setting
