ICT Systems Test Engineer

About the Role:
Digitori Labs is seeking an ICT Systems Test Engineer to maintain system integrity and ensure adherence to quality standards. You'll troubleshoot, test, and optimize ICT systems while collaborating with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Audits and Inspections: Plan, execute and schedule quality audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards, identifying areas for improvement.
- Systems Analysis: Analyze systems, data, and documentation to detect inconsistencies, risks, and areas needing attention.
- Corrective Action Plans: Develop and implement solutions to address non-compliance issues and enhance processes through monitoring and auditing techniques.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, clients and management to promote quality control standards, procedures, and compliance practices to eliminate issues.
- System Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues through quality testing procedures involving hardware, software, and system configurations.
- Functional Testing: Conduct rigorous testing to identify system errors and ensure functionality aligns with established protocols.
- Technical Training: Provide training and guidance on system applications, operational processes, and best practices to end-users.
- System Maintenance: Oversee installations, upgrades, maintenance, and repairs of ICT systems, including hardware, systems software and security systems
- Identifying Errors: Following protocols in testing, identifying and diagnosing functional and programming errors through quality standards for effective systems performance
- Architecture Reviews: Evaluate current systems architecture and recommend strategies to meet future organizational needs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and system reports meeting systems specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in system testing, troubleshooting, and quality control (certifications are a plus).
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and process evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge of software/hardware testing, technical documentation, and providing user support.
Salary: $70,000–$95,000 AUD + superannuation
