We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our dynamic team!

Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 per annum  

Role: Full time

Location: Girraween NSW 2145

Main Duties:

·        Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for civil engineering projects, including custom home builds, renovations, and knockdown rebuilds.

·        Ensure all designs meet Australian building codes, regulations, and project-specific requirements.

·        Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop and refine project designs.

·        Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including project schedules, material lists, and cost estimates.

·        Incorporate topographical and survey data into design plans, ensuring site-specific challenges are addressed.

·        Use CAD and other engineering software to produce accurate and scalable designs.

·        Review and revise designs for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project goals.

·        Liaise with contractors and construction teams to address design queries and ensure project alignment.

·        Stay updated with advancements in drafting technologies and civil engineering standards to enhance design practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

·        Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualifications.

·        Minimum 1 year of proven experience in related field.

·        Knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering drawings, and design standards.

·        Understanding of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods.

·        Ability to analyze project requirements and create designs that are functional, feasible, and cost-effective.
