Hardware Designer - Permanent - 17897 About the Opportunity  On behalf of a valued client, LRO Staffing is actively seeking Hardware Designers adept in highspeed designs. This is an incredible opportunity to join a well-established Canadian organization, with a 40-year track record of delivering connectivity solutions across embedded and industrial applications.  With aggressive revenue growth on the agenda, this hardware-centric company is entering a growth cycle and actively hiring for passionate designers. The selected candidate will report to the Director, Hardware Engineering and work end to end on compelling projects. The location is Guelph, Ontario, Canada. We are seeking candidates interested in on-site work. Duties include but are not limited to: 
  • New product development - full lifecycle
  • Develop complex circuits and multi-layer PCBs
  • Specify and source: board level / system level components
  • Cross-functional team engagement
About You The successful candidate will have the following:
  • 3 – 10 years’ experience executing multilayer, highspeed, high density interconnect designs 
  • Extensive experience doing schematic capture, board layout and component selection
  • material creation preferably using Altium Designer
  • Demonstrated abilities debugging electronics and system level issues using modern lab equipment / tools
  • Familiarity with the following: PCI Express, USB 3, CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, MIPI, HDMI, and DisplayPort
  • Experience with Altium Designer
