Retail Buyer role is selecting and sourcing products that meet our customers' needs and preferences:
- Managing optimum stock levels to minimize holding costs and wastage.
- Planning seasonal buying strategies according to budget.
- Liaising and negotiating for bulk discounts, and supply arrangements with suppliers.
- Monitoring and analysing sales data using software.
- Liaising with management on long term planning and sales promotions.
The applicant must have:
- Minimum one years' experience in a similar role and demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, agile environment with shifting priorities.
- A passion for continuous improvement and delivering outstanding results.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage strong relationships with business stake holders.
- A data driven approach being proficient in Word & Excell.
