About the Company:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations efficiently and accurately. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and supporting the company’s overall financial health.

Location: Huntingwood, NSW

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum

Role: Full-time on-site

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare financial statements, including monthly reporting, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. Prepare budgets and forecasts to support effective decision-making
3. Analyse business performance by examining operating costs and the organisation's income and expenses
4. Prepare BAS and other ATO compliance documents on a regular basis, ensuring timely lodgments
5. Ensure timely and accurate payment of GST, PAYG, superannuation and other obligations
6. Advise and contribute regarding delivery of iprovements to internal processes
7. Maintain and update the chart of accounts, including fixed assets
8. Reconcile accounts and address financial discrepancies by analysing financial data
9. Review accounts receivables and accounts payables functions to ensure accuracy of financial reporting
10. Train and support other finance department team members

Requirements:

• Minimum Master’s degree in accounting or finance
• At least 3 years of practical accounting experience in Australia
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulations.
• Hands on experience using Pronto software
• Strong Microsoft Excel technical skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with an ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
• A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering results.
