Receptionist


Permanent Full-Time Position

Family Owned & Manufactured Products - 39 years on the Sunshine Coast.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and helpful Receptionist to liaise with our customers and staff across our business. This is a level 2 receptionist/clerical position

In your role as receptionist, you will be the face of Mar Gra, responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients. Reporting directly to the Manager and Senior Administration Staff, you will handle a variety of reception and administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the office.

  • Full-Time permanent position with immediate start available
  • 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (hours may be reviewed)
  • experience in sales or customer service are preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients warmly and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Managing client appointments, including scheduling of jobs & client meeting.
  • Handling billing, payments, and processing stock sales with accuracy.
  • Data entry
  • Handling mail, scanning, photocopying, and general office duties.
  • Developing client systems, such as recalls, follow-up calls, SMS, and email communication.
  • Potential assistance in managing social media platforms, including daily posts.
  • Supporting the management of CRM software (training provided).
  • Stock management, including ordering and conducting stocktake.
  • Delivering a high level of customer service with professionalism and empathy.

Skills and Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have the following essential skills and experience:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a receptionist role.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with evidence of training or experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities in a busy office environment.
  • Friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Professional phone manner and well-presented appearance.
  • Proven ability to adapt to meet the needs of patients of all ages, including the elderly and those with disabilities.

Desirable Skills

While not essential, the following skills would be highly regarded:

  • Sales experience and confidence in discussing products or services.
  • Marketing experience
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
