ABOUT THE ROLE

As an IT Support Technician at JJ's you will work within the IT Support team based at our Cleveland Head Office.

You will provide ongoing support and maintenance for our IT users devices, infrastructure, systems, applications, networks & vehicle systems. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques to determine the best resolution for our users 
  • Professional liaison with our users to support and maintain an end-to-end solutions for our business 
  • Provide specialist support for requests raised via our Service Desk and maintain ownership of any Incidents 
  • Provide Helpdesk support on break-fix, installations, moves and changes of emerging technologies 
  • Coordinate & Support installation of in-vehicle computer systems
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues associated with in-vehicle computer systems and telemetry equipment 
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues associated with in-Vehicle video capture and recording equipment 
  • Prepare and maintain documentation to ensure the effective support of in-vehicle computers 
  • Liaise, follow-up and coordinate activity with associated vendors and partners to resolve issues 
  • Coordinate and support procurement of in-vehicle and in-office IT equipment
  • Other duties as required/requested

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in IT Support Level 2 or above
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience 
  • Extensive experience in supporting a Microsoft environment 
  • Demonstrated experience in computer networking fundamentals
  • Understanding of the latest telecommunication technology 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders 
  • Demonstrated experience in providing a high level of customer service
  • Experience with ITSM tools 
  • Technical qualifications and certifications (desirable)
  • ITIL V4 knowledge (desirable)
