\nWe\'re a fast-growing consumer packaged goods company that\'s looking for a sharp, full-time interactive web/graphic designer to help us improve our site experience + create re-usable assets for our marketing channels. Currently we\'re stitching together a few design resources and we\'re ready to focus our efforts on a single web-design resource and allow this person to immerse themselves in our brand.\n\n****We are not looking for an Agency. Please do not contact us about this role if you are with an Agency****\n\nSome Key Responsibilities:\n\nDesign, organize, and implement web ready artwork for weekly web refreshes, site sales, new page templates, email, social, and other digital content. \n\nLead in the direction and creation of graphic assets, banners, responsive landing pages, blog content and websites as directed by the Head of Digital and Creative Director\n \nProactively own projects to support our marketing efforts and build relationships that allow projects to be completed accurately and on-time. \n\nCreate wireframes, rapid prototypes, user interfaces, across all devices with a laser focus on the mobile experience.\n\nDesign layout of email marketing templates for maximum usability and focus on user experience. \n\nCreate user interfaces with the understanding of how they would be developed in front-end code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. \n\nPerform usability tests on interface design to ensure cross-browser compatibility. \nGive expert design advice on projects, make recommendations for improving our website(s)\n\nOwn asset project planning and partner with the marketing team to coordinate calendars in order to deliver accurate and on-brand work by the required deadlines. \n\nMaintain history of layout revisions and asset archive. Document feedback from reviews and meetings and communicate all outstanding items needed from the team while handling multiple jobs at one time. \n\nCommunicate with stakeholders to talk through design direction and adjustments made based on available assets. \n\n\nRequirements: (no one nails this--just an idea of what we\'re looking for):\n\n--3-5 years experience working as a web designer, production artist or user experience designer. \n\n--Must be highly proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch. This is obvious, we know!\n--Strong sense of design principles, UX, UI and best practices for design and e-Commerce across multiple devices. \n--Strong understanding of layouts, typography and hierarchy as it pertains to aesthetically organizing information. \n\n--HTML, CSS and Javascript. . \n--Excellent organizational, planning skills. \n--Excellent communication skills – in person, written and presentation. \n--Willingness to switch gears quickly and be flexible to work on concurrent projects. We’re in retail!\n\nBonuses, (like, these would be awesome)\n\n--Mobile App UX/UI: We’re considering a mobile app experience and any experience you can bring to the table would be great!\n\n--SEO Experience Designing assets/pages, etc that are SEO friendly and optimized would be very helpful\n\n--Social Media marketing experience. \n\n--Experience in online retail merchandising/marketing, advertising. If you’ve been around retail, it’s always good. We move quick and follow a retail calendar.\n\n--Experience with the Shopify platform.
