This position offers a base salary of $75,000, plus additional superannuation. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to oversee office operations and contribute to the efficiency of our production processes. Funky Food AU aims to reduce food waste in Australia by sourcing supermarket rejects from Aussie farms and delivering them to consumers. So far we have rescued millions of kg of produce from being wasted and we need your help to save even more!
About Us
- Coordinating and managing office operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Allocating resources, including staff, space, and equipment, to optimize office productivity.
- Monitoring and evaluating employee performance to improve the efficiency and productivity of the administrative team and maintain high work standards.
- Managing records, accounts, and documentation essential to the factory’s operations.
- Contributing to planning and optimizing office service processes related to factory operations and determining office service priorities and standards to enhance efficiency and continuously improve office processes to increase productivity and adapt to organizational needs.
- Ensuring the availability and maintenance of office equipment and supplies, particularly those critical to tea production and packaging.
- Enforcing occupational health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintaining compliance with relevant government legislation, policies, and industry standards.
- Collaborate and liaising effectively with various factory departments, including production, finance, and human resources, to facilitate operations and resolution of problems.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least three years of experience in office management within the food, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors.
- Proven ability to lead, organize, and solve problems effectively.
- Capability to perform efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced factory setting.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in office management systems and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with international stakeholders.
