About Us:

Lippway Pty Ltd is one of Brisbane’s leading liquid waste management companies. The family business has been operating in Brisbane in ground maintenance and liquid waste transport for 30 years. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Engineering Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis for our exciting new project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a high-impact project while working with a dedicated and passionate team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Researching and recommending advanced engineering technologies to improve the efficiency, sustainability, and performance of liquid waste treatment systems within the project.
  2. Evaluating and refining existing engineering technologies to optimize their effectiveness and operational efficiency, ensuring seamless performance and supporting the upgrade of technology systems for the project.
  3. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative engineering solutions that enhance both the technical and economic outcomes of liquid waste treatment projects.
  4. Assisting in gathering and analyzing on-site data to evaluate the performance of equipment, systems, and components, ensuring optimal functioning of liquid waste treatment operations.
  5. Applying a range of relevant tools to test, implement, and improve engineering projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance, suitable for long-term application.
  6. Summarizing the technological opportunities for the project, including evaluating limitations, cost implications, and potential risks related to the implementation of new technologies in liquid waste treatment.
  7. Participating in quality control process, and performing regular inspections to ensure that all engineering technologies are applied in full compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  8. Setting up and operating testing equipment specific to liquid waste treatment systems to assess the performance and functionality of machinery and technology.
  9. Keeping current with the latest advancements in liquid waste treatment technologies, continuously improving the understanding and application of the most effective solutions in the field.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. At least Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related fields.
  2. Proven at least 2-3 years experience in a similar role, preferably manufacturing industries.
  3. Strong understanding of engineering principles, safety regulations, and best practices.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  5. High level of proficiency in CAD and other software and engineering tools.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
