Since the establishment in 2014, DS Structural Steel Pty Ltd is developing and expanding fast. We provide the onsite steel frame erection service cross metropolitan and regional area in South Australia. Now we are looking for qualified and experienced Engineering Manager (specialised in vehicle mechanic) to join our vibrant team.
The Role
As the Project Coordinator, you will collaborate with the entire Adelaide team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will provide crucial support and coordination throughout the project lifecycle. This unique and rare opportunity allows you to be actively involved and supported by colleagues who manage different phases of the process, from design to project handover.
Major Job Duty includes:
This is a highly technical and managerial role. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Liaising with clients to understand client requirement and updating clients about the progress of projects;
· Monitoring project progress and address potential issues to senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decision:
o scheduling regular meetings for assigning tasks and next steps;
o breaking projects into doable tasks and set timeframes and goals;
o creating and updating workflows;
o ordering resources, equipment, and software if necessary;
o track expenses and predict future costs;
o preparing and reviewing submissions and reports;
o conducting risk analysis;
o collecting and analysing data associated with projects undertaken, and reporting on project outcomes
o Reviewing and arranging new office accommodation
· Responding to inquiries and resolving problems concerning contracts, programs, projects, services provided, and persons affected;
· Managing paperwork associated with contracts, programs, projects and services provided;
· Acting as the point of contact of all participants and working with Project Managers, Engineering Professionals, electricians, and owners and others to ensure that goals are met
opreparing and providing documentation to internal teams and key stakeholders;
oretrieving necessary information, such as client requirements;
ooverseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders.

Successful applicant will need:
·Relevant qualification in project management;
· at least 2 years of extensive and solid experience in coordinating administrative tasks and construction site activities, along with proven support to project managers and trades;
·A meticulous approach to critical thinking, planning, and organising, maintaining poise while thoroughly and methodically resolving issues;
·Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a focus on overseeing and managing project variables, recognising time constraints and prioritising based on business needs.
·Excellent time management skills to balance multiple priorities, coupled with the flexibility to manage both proactive and reactive situations on-site or in the office.
