You will perform troubleshooting, possibly of multiple databases, and work with a team that works collaboratively to recommend database techniques that support business needs. You will provide technical support, and participate in the On-Call rotation where each DBA contributes weekly.This role can be located in Evansville, IN, Baltimore, MD, Chicago, IL, Fort Worth, TX or Wilmington, DE. Relocation is not provided.Qualifications: Design/implement backup and recovery solutions. Document and implement best practices for database environments. IBM iSeries/Power Series DB2 performance tuning. Write and tune SQL. Knowledge of SDLC and database design methodologies/principles.Experience: 3+ Hands-on experience with DB2 for iSeries (Power Series). 3+ Experience with related utilities/tools, physical database design, DB2 integrity and security management. 3+ years of database administration for highly available applications.
