This position assists with the advancement of the visual design and user interface of County website applications. Works with Application Development team to develop creative web solutions, including application flow, navigation and user designs. Contributes with team in regards to coding and definition of templates and styles. Analyzes and evaluates web design requests and works with users regarding specific departmental requirements. Performs daily content maintenance duties including updating both internal and external websites. Performs the day-to-day operation of the server software, including the maintenance of system security, monitoring usage statistics and logs, modifying configuration settings and backing up the system. Conducts analyses of other websites for new ideas and offerings. Participates in creating a content development strategy. Work requires knowledge normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field. Must have at least two years of directly related experience. Working knowledge of .NET, Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS and other web related tools preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Operatorrsquos Driverrsquos License with an acceptable driving record.
