QualiTech is growing, and we are seeking a Programmer Analyst/Database Administrator to join our team.Position SummaryPlaying a vital role within the IT department, the Programmer Analyst/Database Administrator will design, manage, maintain and ensure optimization of company databases. Additionally, this position will maintain and develop computer application software, provide systems development, analysis, procurement, and support management for all information systems that support the business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Perform analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of computer application software according to business requirements.* Create reports and queries of corporate databases to support business needs in compliance with programming standards and policies.* Works with managed service providers to coordinate all user software help desk questions.* Develop, document, maintain, and execute procedures to safeguard the Company's computer data, software and hardware; including departmental standards and procedures.* Participate in associations, attend courses and seminars, and review publications as necessary to maintain proficiency in supporting the Company's information systems.Education and Experience:* Advanced technical or bachelor's degree in computer programming or equivalent* Three or more years of related work experience* General exposure to the various technologies related to working in a manufacturing environment* SQL Server Administration 2005 - 2014+* Strong experience with T-SQL Procedures and custom SQL table design in SQL Server* Excel VBA & Excel Query with embedded SQL Procedure calls* Experience creating windows applications using .NET (Visual Basic of C#)* Knowledgeable in business web client/server and front-end/back-end technologies* Ability to design and maintain Crystal Reports, preferred* Ability to learn and troubleshoot SQL based ERP system, preferred* Familiarity with EDI systems and custom coding support, preferred* SSRS reporting design & deployment, preferred* Familiarity with any of the following a plus* Citrix environment* Knowledge with MS Office applications* Business Intelligence strategies* Adage ERP, Infor CRM or MP2 Maintenance applications* ERP reporting for AP, AR, GL, Purchasing, Manufacturing & Sales* XML using HTTP Post or SOAP technologies* HTML, JavaScript, Windows Script and classic ASP* Familiarity with PC hardware and Windows OS* KnowledgeSync email notification system* Microsoft Active Directory* Mobile devicesKnowledge and Skills* Thrives and is comfortable with autonomy and accountability* Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills* Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents* Sound analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus* Possesses excellent organization skills and detail orientation* Ability to work with and maintain confidential dataQualiTech is seeking candidates who:* Want to contribute and make an impact for our company and our customers* Wish to work for a company with a clear strategy for growth* Understand the high value placed on customer relationships* Are curious and interested in our company and our customer's industries* Conduct themselves with integrity, honesty and transparency* Are responsible, accountable and dependable
