Database Administrator University of Vermont Medical Center South Burlington, VT Full-Time
The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for supporting departmental and enterprise databases to include monitoring, maintenance, optimization, installation, backups/restores, and reporting to ensure the availability and performance of our key applications. The DBA will ensure security and protection of database assets and serve as a key resource on the technical team requiring a working knowledge of multiple software systems in use at the UVM Health Network and the interrelationships among those systems. This is a “hands-on” position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or other technical field or equivalent experience.
