Inventory Controller – Full Time

Location - Coolaroo

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our team.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Inventory Controller to join our dynamic team.

About You

  • Experience with inventory control procedures and good manufacturing practices
  • Bills of Material (BOMs), Stock Receipting, Purchase Orders
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Friendly, reliable, and professional manner
  • A team player, who is happy to share knowledge/experience
  • Assist in continuous improvement projects
  • Experience in Pronto ERP and/or Triton 
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control inventory levels to meet production demands and customer requirements.
  • Production routings
  • Establish and Maintain Bill of Materials
  • Control Standard Costing Process
  • Support Director and General Manager to Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials.
  • Maintain inventory management software to track and report inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to optimize inventory flow.
  • Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory performance, including turnover, stock levels, and order fulfillment for the QA and Production Team
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made (inwards/Outwards log).
  • Administrative duties including but not limited to Customer invoicing, supplier invoice process, answer phones.
  • Support for General Process Improvement and Adhoc duties as required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management
