Position: Industrial DesignerLocation: Elanora Heights NSW 2101Position Type: Full-TimeSalary: AUD 70,000 per annum plus superannuationKey Responsibilities:As an Industrial Designer at Landforms Pty Ltd, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on various projects that require creativity, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to design excellence. Your responsibilities will include: ·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative outdoor and landscaping products from concept to completion. ·        Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas.·        Research and select appropriate materials to ensure durability and sustainability in our products.·        Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.·        Utilize CAD software to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.·        Work within budget constraints while maintaining the highest design standards.·        Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design methodologies to enhance our product offerings.·        Prepare comprehensive design documentation for production, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and user manuals.·        Collaborate closely with other designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:·        Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field.·        Proven experience in industrial design, preferably in outdoor or landscaping products. ·        Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Adobe Creative Suite. ·        Strong sketching and prototyping skills. ·        Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. ·        Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. ·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ·        A passion for sustainable design and environmental consciousness.
