We are currently looking for a Full time- Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities:• Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop plastic components and products.• Utilize CAD software to create detailed drawings and specifications for plastic fabrication and moulding.• Oversee the prototyping process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.• Conduct testing and analysis of prototypes to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.• Work closely with production teams to optimize plastic fabrication and moulding processes.• Implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.• Develop and implement quality control procedures for plastic products.• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.• Provide technical support to resolve issues related to plastic fabrication and moulding processes.• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of design specifications, testing results, and process improvements.• Troubleshoot and address technical issues that may arise during production.
Qualifications:• Relevant quaification • Minimum 2 years of work experience • Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling and design• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to plastic fabrication

Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 plus superannuation
