Senior PHP Developer with expertise in Laravel framework.
Will perform new front end and/or back-end design/enhancements.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter that can identify and resolve issues autonomously and collaboratively at the appropriate times. Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate back-end and user-facing elements.
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Integration of data storage solutions
- Take ownership of existing build and deployment pipelines
- Coordinate and communicate with remote team members in an Agile development environment.
Critical Skills And Qualifications
- Experience with PHP Laravel web framework
- Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Experience working with VueJS framework.
- Working knowledge of build tools including maven and npm
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Ability to leverage infrastructure-as-code tooling for repeatable configuration across dev, staging, and production environments.
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, or similar platforms/ programs
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
