What you will need to succeed

1. 3+ years in Network Engineering with strong knowledge of network fundamentals, network design and implementation of best and secure practices across large enterprise networks.
2. Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; certifications like CCNP, CCNA, PCNSA, PCNSE are a plus.
3. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching, Wi-Fi, Meraki, Sophos.
4. Strong troubleshooting skills including packet and log analysis with proven technical documentation abilities.
5. Experience with monitoring and network management tools.
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage incident response and production support to maintain high network availability
2. Support and maintain LAN and WAN environments, network hardware, and software, supporting and troubleshooting network problems and emergencies
3. Assist with installation, upgrades, monitoring, and performance optimisation of ICT systems and retail hardware
4. Monitor and enhance security frameworks, ensuring rapid detection and response to threats
5. Drive process improvement, conduct root cause analysis, and implement mitigation strategies
6. Deliver network design and optimisation aligned with evolving business needs
7. Contribute to service management processes including incident, problem, change, and release management
8. Support with network deployment activities
9. Design and support telephony systems to deliver seamless business communications
