Champion Cabinets is a full service cabinetry manufacturer, offering a lifetime of expertise utilizing 3D graphic design, quality manufacturing and professional installation. We sell custom design cabinets constructed with Australian made materials with high standard for quality and precision.

We are currently seeking skilled Cabinetmakers to join our growing team in Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that values attention to detail, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Job duties include:

  1. Interpret design plans, technical drawings, and job specifications to identify project requirements.
  2. Select and work with a wide range of materials including Australian timber and engineered wood products.
  3. Operate and program CAD software and CNC machinery to accurately cut, shape, and prepare cabinet components.
  4. Manufacture custom cabinetry and furniture pieces according to detailed plans and client specifications.
  5. Carry out professional installation of cabinetry for kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and large-scale commercial projects.
  6. Produce detailed joinery and fittings for specialised projects. Assemble individual components to create complete cabinetry units and furniture products.
  7. Apply finishing techniques to enhance durability and appearance.
  8. Install and adjust hardware including hinges, locks, handles, runners, drawers, and shelving systems.
  9. Restore, repair, and refurbish cabinetry and furniture, including antique pieces, to extend their lifespan and maintain quality.
  10. Meeting the general construction program timeline
  11. Following OHS policy and procedure on the site

To apply for the job , you must have:

  1. At least a relevant AQF Certificate III (including 2 years of on the job training), or AQF Certificate IV obtained in Australia plus one year of full-time work experience. OR, at least 3 years of full-time work experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
  2. Extensive knowledge of cabinetmaking
  3. Strong woodworking and joinery skills
  4. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and CNC/automated woodworking machinery
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D design plans
  6. Precision measuring, cutting, and assembling skills

We offer annual salary from $75,000 to $85,000 plus super with 38 working hours per week.
