Position Overview

SLR Trans Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Developer Programmer to design, develop, and maintain software applications that support business operations, system integrations, and customer-facing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyse user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
2. Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems
3. Write, modify, and debug code using appropriate programming languages
4. Develop and integrate APIs and third-party systems
5. Maintain databases and ensure data integrity and security
6. Troubleshoot system issues and implement performance improvements
7. Prepare technical documentation and system manuals
8. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver scalable technology solutions

Skills and Experience Required

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
2. Minimum 1 years of relevant work experience as a Developer Programmer or similar role
3. Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, or similar
4. Experience with web application development and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
5. Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control tools
6. Strong problem-solving and communication skills
