Job Title: General Practitioner

Belmont Health Centre is a well-established, community-focused medical practice located in Belmont, NSW. We are seeking a full-time General Practitioner to join our experienced clinical team.

Our practice provides primary healthcare services to a diverse patient population, including local residents, aged care patients, Indigenous communities, and patients from rural and remote backgrounds. We work within a multidisciplinary model alongside allied health professionals, nurses, and specialists to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Role description

The General Practitioner will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages, contributing to the ongoing delivery of high-quality primary healthcare, and supporting the continued growth of our established patient base.

Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality, evidence-based general practice services
2. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
3. Deliver preventative healthcare, health assessments, and care plans
4. Work collaboratively with nursing staff, allied health, and specialists
5. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
6. Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities

Role requirements

1. General registration with AHPRA
2. Vocational registration (FRACGP, ACRRM, or equivalent)
